Brendan O’Ciobhain
Managing Director and Chartered Financial Planner
Brendan has worked in financial services for over 35 years in various client-facing roles and, along with being the M.D., he continues to provide financial planning advice to the firm’s clients. He is a Chartered Financial Planner and a past President of the Personal Finance Society, the main professional body for financial planners in the UK.
He lives in Berkshire with his wife Sally, with his two sons, Jake and Harry, having grown up and left home. As well as being a founder of Phoenix Wealth Management Limited, he is a keen sailor, having completed a leg of the Clipper Round The World Race in 2022, and has recently expanded his range of adventure activities, with an Antarctic expedition in January 2025.
Jake Geraghty
Financial Planner
Jake is the newest member of the team, having joined in April 2026.
Originally from Australia, he settled in the U.K. seven years ago, and now lives in Oxford with his partner.
He has been working as a financial planner for several years and has joined to work alongside Brendan helping him to deal with the day-to-day needs of our clients.
Away from the office, he enjoys doing anything with his hands, from woodwork and metalwork to tinkering with car engines, as well as spending time in the gym or with family and friends.
Harry Norton
Financial Planner
Harry joined the business in early 2025 and works alongside Brendan, helping him to deal with the day-to-day needs of our clients.
His early years in financial services were spent as a Paraplanner, providing research solutions, before making the move into a financial planner role.
Harry is Oxfordshire ‘born and bred’, living currently in Littlemore, and is based in the Witney office. Outside of the office, you will find him at the gym, on the golf course, or spending time with friends and family (especially his two young nephews, who he says enjoy keeping him on his toes).
Angela Barney
Client Liaison
Angela has worked in our Witney office since 1998 in a variety of roles. Her most recent move was into a Client Liaison role, working alongside the Financial Planners, and using her knowledge of our clients acquired over many years to ensure that they receive everything that they need.
Whilst she is originally from the valleys of Wales, she has lived in Witney since she was 5 years old. She has two grown-up boys, Mark and Steven, and a newly-arrived granddaughter, Elle.
Her free time is spent work as a boxing coach for juniors, and getting to the U.S. as often as possible to spend time with Elle.
